Ladder 33 runs 2nd Alarm Hospital Fire in Engine 14s first Due.

LBH Fire

Thursday, January 19, 2012 16:25 Engine Company 14 and Tower 14 (Third District) along with Ladder Co.11 (Croydon) Burlington County, NJ Ladder 903, Rescue 10 (Edgely), Engine 82 (Newportville), Engine 52 (Bristol Boro), Engine 50 (Bristol Boro)  were dispatched for a reported hospital fire. While responding, Chief 14 (Finnell) was advised that the 4th floor of Lower Bucks Hospital was on fire. Chief 14 requested a Second alarm to the fire. This brought in Quint 51 (Bristol Boro), Rescue 13 (Levittown #2), Engine 53(Bristol Boro), Engine 12 (Newportville) and Engine 77 (WM Penn). Rescue 31  (Fairless Hills) was added for RIT. Chief 14 went on location and assumed LBH command. He reported one room on fire with activated sprinklers. A primary search was performed in the room with negative findings and crews reported the fire knocked. Ladder CO.33 with 6 volunteers were added later as part of the Bristol Township Fire task force and remained on location for a short period of time for man power. Company's on locations were Engines: 14,11,82,52,50,501,53,12,77,44  Ladders:11,33,903 Tower 14 Rescues:10,13,31,8 Quint 51 Medic 143,185 and MCI 4

   


 

Engine Runs 2nd Due With Edgely Engine 10 for 5 Buses On Fire.

Saturday, January 7, 2012 17:36 Edgely Fire Company Station 10 was dispatched for a reported brush fire next to their station at Lion Tours a rental bus company that is out of business. After responding  Bucks County Fire Radio advised Chief 10 (Pierce) that they were getting multiple calls for four buses on fire. Chief 10 Added Engine Co.33 and and Squirt 13 to the call. Engine 33 responded with 6 volunteers. Chief 10 went on location and reported 5 buses on fire. Engine 10,33 and Squirt 13 went in service for approximately 1 hour extinguishing and overhauling 5 buses. Engine 11 was added for man power. Company's on location were: Engines: 10,33,11 Squirt 13.

     



 

Engine Runs 3rd Due House Fire With Engine Co.32

Wednesday, January 4, 2012 15:47 At 15:47 HRS Engine CO.33 was dispatched as the third due Engine with Levittown Fire CO.#1 Station 32 for a reported dwelling fire. Chief 32 went on location with a working bedroom fire. Engine 32 went on location and made a quick knock on the fire. Engine 33 was held on location for man power. Company's on location were Engines  33,32,10 Rescues: 32,31. Medic 154. Engine 98 covered Station 32.

Members visit West Chester Fire Acadamy

Sunday, November 13, 2011  Some members of the fire company visited the West Chester Fire Acadamy along with stations 50, 53/25, and 37 for a day of structural burn sessions. Members practiced many techniques such as search and rescue and hoseline drills. It was a very good experience for all. Photos by: Cindy Harris, Station 37

     



 

Standby at an Accident on Route 13

Monday, October 24, 2011  At approximately, 0130 sunday morning, the QRS and Engine were dispatched for an accident on Rt 13 south of the mill creek exit. The patients were treated and transported to the hospital by the QRS and Medic crews while the engine crew assisted the tow truck in retreaving the car from the wooded embankment. Crews were on scene an extended period of time.

     



 

Fire Prevention/Open House

Saturday, October 8, 2011  The fire company held its 2nd Annual Fire Prevention/Open House at the Home Depot in the Levittown Shopping Center. There was a great turn out. There was many fire trucks, live fire demos and many other activities! A good time was had by all! See you all next year!!!

     



 

TFC Honor Guard goes to the National Fire Academy for PA Weekend 2011

Saturday, August 20, 2011  The Tullytown Honor Guard, along with a few other firefighters went to the National Fire Academy for the Pennsylvania State Weekend in Emmitsburg, MD over the weekend. Members of the fire company participated in training classes and other group activities. The Honor Guard was present at the PA Fallen Firefighters Memorial Ceremony along with Fire Commissoner Ed Mann. A good time was had by all!

Monday, June 6, 2011  The officers and members of the fire company would like to congratulate Firefighter Justin Holmes and Firefighter Bianca Long for graduating from the Bucks County Public Safety Training Centers Spring Firefighter 1 Class. The Tullytown Honor Guard was also present at the ceremony!
