Tullytown Fire Company has recently added a 2007 Ford Explorer Command and QRS vehicle to the fleet. This car was acquired to replace the 1996 Crown Victoria Chief Vehicle. Along with the Larger vehicle we have assured with 4x4 capability year round coverage no matter what the weather conditions. This vehicle features a all Whelan LED lighting system with a built in opticom and command light. The vehicle also has an on board computer with all MSDS, maps and preplanned information at your fingertips. The car has all the same EMS equipment as the last Explorer and is state certified as a QRS unit. Like our last command vehicle this SUV has a full tow package for responding with our marine units. This unit will be used by the Chief and the Deputy Chief will use the 2002 Explorer.
