A few weeks ago the officers and members went to our three elementary schools in our first due to teach the kids about fire prevention and safety. Members showed kids what a firefighter looks like all geared up and told them not to be afaid or hide. The kids also got to see the trucks up close and touch some of the things we use like hoses and other things. The kids seem to enjoy when we visit and we look forward to doing it again next year.
